Dynamic or Defective Seats???

Don't know if this is normal or not with the Dynamic seat function and all, but what seems to be the lower lumber, activates from time to time and its really quite annoying! I find myself pressing the release button ever so often. There must be some sort of setting for this, isn't there? It'll happen regardless if the Dynamic function is on or off.

Anyone else experience this or know how to stop it? I had MB check out the seats a while back and they reported no trouble codes, or problems...

My dynamic seats do this as well.

Ii believe it's supposed to be a "feature". The seats are supposed to adjust your seating position slightly to help fight fatigue from what i understand. Don't have them on my CLS, but had them on an older '03 MB E class. There was a simliar feature on the older BMW 7 series seats as well but not as noticeable. No idea if you can disable it.

DucatiGuy - mine does the same thing. Pretty annoying as it's not comfortable. Mainly a red light thing as some of you have pointed out. I think it's safe to say that all dynamic seats are like this along with that intermittent ticking sound.

That's one of the reasons my car is in for warranty right now, that lumbar popping up out of no where is mad annoying, and it seems to be more popped out on the pass side than the drive side, and doesn't really deflate all the way. On the drive, it sometimes inflates on it's on when you sit on your side kinda facing the back of the car, sometimes just comes out on random times.

this seems to be a common problem for the cls 55.. let me know if they fix it because that is quite annoying.. cls 63's don't have this problem?
