I have a complete part list book for the 2006-08 models. You can buy the star alone, but I don't have any 2009 part #'s.
I have the amg distronic grill, and I bought it for the look. It fit just fine on my CLS 500, which has a lorinser front bumper. I also had the grille covered in carbon fiber.

i have a damaged 09 grill and its basically the star that is broken. i didnt know i could just buy that part! i could have saved myself a bunch of money by just getting the star itself.
when u order the star only is it the whole black plastic star piece with the chrome?
