Looking for 20", wider the better, not chrome, in SoCal.

CLS55 plus a few Ducati's
Plenty to choose from and all sorts of advise on this forum. Have Vossens on mine and they are reasonably priced and look great. Check out the classified section as well. Post pics once you have them on.. Lowered a little, these cars look a lot better... good luck.

.

The lower you go the harsher the ride. I have an inch between top of the tire and the peak in the wheel arch and it is a pretty rough ride. Some guys like their cars pimped to the max but it must be down right rough when you hit a pot hole. Wheel travel is reduced by lowering and you need a reasonable amount of travel for the shock damping to work properly. I will be lifting mine a half inch next week.. Had it like this for a year but its just unpleasant to ride in. Also looks a bit tacky if it is too low..... this is a stylish classy vehicle not a pimps P.O.S.

So to be an inch and a haft above the wheel peak how much do you think you lowered it from stock? Let me know how the 1.5 feels. Id like it a bit lower but i dont want the rough ride. i drive too many miles and im too old. lol

thx
