Xenon to HID Question...

Xenon to HID Question...
So, this might be a complete n00b question...


the xenon light uses a D2S Bulb... does the low beam also require the ballast as the fog lights/high beams if I wanted to go with HID.. or is it already HID?

P.S... I've ran a search and it seems this is the case... can anyone verify?

CLS55 - SL55 - RRS Supercharged
I got mine installed a couple weeks back and had to use a total of 4 ballast 2 for the low beams and 2 on the fogs

the low beams are xenon... is that equivalent to HID's?

yes. HID is factory on your car and it runs D2S bulbs. Your high beams are not HIDs.
