Juicee I drove a black '08 CLS63 today at Valencia MBZ, they're asking $59 w/34k miles. A little much IMO but it is a CPO. Has the nice matte finish light brown wood trim & black leather, P2 package, clean car. A fun drive but the wrong color for me.

I hammered on it a little bit to really feel the difference between the Comfort and Sport modes, but I didn't just abuse it...that's SOMEONE's new AMG and I wouldn't want anyone blasting my car before I bought it either.

I was impressed with how smooth the car is in the comfort mode. And yeah it was HOT as hell outside but the car still felt great. Some dork in a lifted F350 diesel wanted to play. I tipped into the throttle about 3/4 way and he turned into a dot in the rearview, that was pretty funny.

Definately a great great combination of comfort and power.

No worries on the accelerator application. The 63 loves that, loves it.

So what are the guesses as to what's going to happen w/your old car. If it's still sitting on the lot not for sale, what's next for it. Repairs & then on the sales block? What price do you think it'll fetch?

Sorry for the late response. Been on the other forum alot searching for new info.

I did not purchase anything from there, but I ended up picking up a white M6 with carbon package at another dealer. I miss the comfort of the CLS, but back to a V10 again, this time in the M6 not the M5.

I have the 030 fronts, if anyone has the rears we could make a set and sell em?

I noticed the shop(dealership) put some rims on the car, so perhaps they have the wheels including the kosei racing fronts.

I also have a key and the books, records etc..

you should submit your accident info to you carfax and have them update it. that should cause a lot of people to be pissed off at the selling party... since they obviously knew it was not a clean car...

Josh, you should buy it back man..... low ball them and try to get it back. Your car had one of the well built 63 engines out there. I miss our races at Fontana. I remember our first race together where you won by 0.0003 seconds

They apparantly paid 42k at auction not knowing about the 2 repo's and a total of 30k in damage.

Mercedes was well aware of rthe accident since they took the car from the body shop.


Id definately buy it for 40k cash.

I miss it sooooooo much it hurts.

That is so strange..... MB Financial would rather sell it in an auction at a huge loss than sell it to you for more? Very crazy

They may not take $40k just yet, but if they can't sell it for a while, they probably will. It's worth a try

yeah my old car spent near 4 months in the body shop. I wonder how much the wheels and tires set the seller back.

I bought your old wheel setup for 600. I still have the koseis, and I found two fronts for the 030 wheels already, those are long gone
