its not a 550?
Makes no sense the other 63s they are selling do not have the 030 package have just as many miles and they are asking 55-60k?
the picture of the sold car definately is not my old car

Mercedes Benz Financial rather than wait for repairs and inspection did a mid night extraction from the body shop here in LA.
The residual was dropped like 2.5k to 63.5k. I declined and the car went to auction.
Now Mercedes would like me to pay them for the depreciation despite the fact my lease was already expired since Feb 2, 2010.
The car was taken late April from the body shop prior to completion of repair.
I never saw my car again after the 1/16/2010 accident. My insurance paid for all repairs but there were no parts available for the car until mid April at which time the finance company thought I was going to steal the car so they threatened the body shop , paid the last bill and took the car.
The real motive was to save on depreciation and pass it along to the consumer. When the car is force sold the depreciation becomes the responsibility of the lease holder. So Mbfinancial simply added 41k to my final bill.
I was not about to pay 65k to them w/o a thorough inspection after accident, they refused access. All a part of the plan to stick me with the deficiency balance.
If the car sold for 42k , somebody got a hella quick 63 on the cheap.

Sorry to hear that Josh, are you planning to get back into a AMG or are you already back in one now? Hell of a story since I've been on this forum, I think it's time for a new, fresh car and a blank slate for you!
Happy 4th everyone.

So, you don't owe anything and done with ordeal correct? I got a little confused...
That car had been through so much, perhaps this was a blessing in disguise.

They have not put it up for sale yet. It's not even on their website yet. The car was bought from auction for 42500, who knows what the asking price will be. The car I'm reffering to has 2 kosei wheels up front and 2 030 wheels out back. It's definitely your old car

That makes sense, so it was leaking oil? guess they never even bothered mechanical repairs. Car is still under warranty so that should not be a problem to fix.
Thanks again for the info.

No they want 41k from me, thats just the deficiency.
The car sold at Auction for 42500 but has not yet been offered retail.
The finance cmpany took the difference from the residual and the auction price and charged it to me.
I wish I could of simply returned the car to the dealer of purchase upon repair completion. We had an understanding that durnig the disposition at the dealer we would roll the balance due into a new purchase or lease.
The Dodge Ram is cool for now , but I definately miss Mercedes and will most certainly be back

The bank failed to do any reconditioning yet charged me several thousand dollars in fees.
I am glad I have the info , it definately bolsters my civil claim.
I may just go down and buy my car back!

Yeah man , I miss it ..
I do not understand why the failed to repair the vehicle when I had a claim and GEICO willing to pay 100% of all damage including mechanical? (leaking oil) wtf..
Oh wait , they didnt care cause they stuck me with the bill. Sold as is?
To the buyer, please PM me if you wish to pursue civil litigation against the seller.Car should have been made safe or had a salvage title. Was the buyer mis-led on the condition?
When I said "I would buy it" it would certainly be AFTER ALL REPAIRS had been made under the claim following the collision.
