Need help - rear brake pads
I got a set of OEM rear brake pads part # 005 420 25 20. However, they now have these metal weights with L & R inscriptions on top of the pads. Are these new? 
Because my current pads don't have these weights. See picture below.

Search this AMG area of the weights question. I asked porterfireld about replacements pads. The only thing they said about their aftermarket brake pads were the weights were not part or required. Is there a chance you have aftermarket pads on your car now?. My 07 has the weights

Strange. My 07 pad was original from the factory but without the weights. Let me do the install and compare. Thanks for the information. Knowing you pads has weights too makes me comfortable about the install because I was trying to figure out why my current pads don't have weight or did I order the right pads.
