I was interested in the carbon fiber rear diffuser for the cls 3-fin diffuser like c63 sl63 cl63/cl65 has anyone install this? i see a few for sale on ebay and wanted opinion in regard to the real look and fitment any information would be helpful.

 

it's a pain to install. Plus, the fitment on some of diffuser that's on ebay is slighltly off.

pg 2 shows the fit quality.

 

Install is not a big deal and it fits fine, but I would recommend pulling the exhaust tips out you are all done. Here is my DIY thread.

Any one else got another example of the renntech one?
saw one example and it was bad....

 

They are all offf by a bit the diffuser is off on the edges n is lower than the factory bumper by couple of MM its more noticible on a lighter colour car.....

 

I didn't like the way that Ebay part fit either. This is why MCD is looking into making one for the CLS C219. Here is the thread and list
