Anyone over 100k yet?
I'm at 87,000 miles... my car has had THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS dumped into it from my aftermarket warranty (CarMax Max Care rocks!!) but it ends at 102,000 miles... and I'm kind of afraid of problems outside of warranty.

I'm buying my car from Carmax Friday, but with the snow we got I think it won't be till next week. Did you ever have to pay anymore than the deductible to get your car fixed? That warranty seems pretty good.

CLS55 AMG
I've had a lot of cars way past 100,000 without serious problems. 189k, 230k, 157k, all sold as well. Currently 150k, 177k and my cls55 @ 65k. The only one I do worry about is the cls, but I don't rag on it much anyways. Yeah I guess you can say I get attached to my vehicles. lol

Just hit 80,000 miles
I just hit 80k yesterday. It's going to the dealer tomorrow for scheduled maintenance. I've also had $$ thousands covered by extended warranty (EasyCare), which ends in a few thousand miles. Also trying to decide if I should dump it, because it's just a matter of time before something else goes wrong ...
My verdict on this car IMO is that it's one of the best looking/designed cars ever, but also the most unreliable! Like many, I'm simply blinded by the beauty/uniqueness/power of the car, which makes me tolerate the poor quality. This car is sure to be an expensive liability out of warranty ...
The good news is that, after all the repairs, the car rides and feels great/solid ... as it did at 30k. It must be because ALMOST HALF THE PARTS have been replaced!
Issues covered by Mercedes under warranty (before 50k):
New transmission
Electronic trunk motor
Lower ball joints
Cup holder
Middle/upper air vents
Issues covered by EasyCare (after 50k):
All 4 bent/cracked wheels
Thrust arm bushings
Lower ball joints (again)
Front passenger airmatic strut
Both front motor mounts
Transmission mounts
Idler Pulley + other belts
Valve cover gasket leaks
Passenger/driver sun visor light
Center channel speaker

Ask CarMax if possible for another extended warranty. They are in the best position to obtain one for you.
If not thru CarMax, start Googling and hopefully you can obtain a co that will write past 100k mi for an MB. Most likely it will be a powertrain only coverage. Some of these cos might be shady, but at least you have a piece of paper.
You may wish to try Fidelity. They have some 100k mi plans. I do not know if they will cover a CLS. Probably not a cheap option. May wish to invest those $$ in another purchase at this point.
