The 63 engines are prone to issues...The 55 is a better motor
I have been researching the 55 and 63 for some time and I am def going with the 55...the one i want is a 030 black/black on autotrader Retardedmunk is selling for $40k... a damn good deal for that car ....but I have to wait to unload my car.. They banned Retardedmunk on here..he sold me my car originally and the one before the car I got now...he is probably the best dealer I have ever dealt with and he made like $300 on me... any franchise dealer is a worst nightmare for a used car...that is the golden truth.... I WILL NEVER DEAL with any big dealer again

Thanks for all the posts. Got the BEAST back yesterday and she feels good. MB Dealer 2 wound up saying that they mis-diagnosed the motor mounts and it was a leak at hose amongst other things. I asked my tech for the tests and all paperwork to post here. They didn't want to give it to me for some reason but then asked the girl who billed me $300 for it and she kindly accepted. I am not sure what it all means and if there are any other issues.
Also MB DEALER 1 charged me $1100 that I have to dispute since they said I needed almost $10,000 in work done. I am almost thinking of getting a 3rd opinion.

not sure where you are in jersey, but I'd highly recommend benzel busch in englewood.

I felt much better after hearing from everyone. The car seems to be running good but im out almost $1,500 in BS charges which I am trying to sort. I'm just happy to have it back and in running order. I still will need another opinion and I will check out the dealership over in Englewood. Just again I want to reiterate how thankful I am for everyone's advice and thoughts onto this matter....its everyone who helps make this board what it is. Thanks again.
