yea cuz its hard to put the dipstick back in and the mechanic said the dipstick shouldnt be twisted, it should be straight. i was wondering if anyone else that has the w219 cls has a straight dipstick or is it twisted like mines.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
I don't know about being "twisted", but the tube it goes down into is not a straight path.

As you are pushing the dipstick into the tube it begins to curve about halfway through. That is normal on both the C219 and new C218, the M156 and M157 motors respectively.

On my C218 CLS63, the oil dipstick is pretty twisted and it takes some effort to slot it back in.
