I've been looking for an AMG sedan to complete my AMG fleet. I settled on this 2008 CLS63 AMG P030. I wanted to stick with the 55 lineup, but I couldn't fine a CLS55 that was silver in color with low miles and the additional Performance Package.

This CLS63 has 28K miles and comes fully loaded with the P02 Package, the additional P030 Performance Package with the Black CF interior, and stand alone options like Parktronic, Distronic, and rear DVD media package.

These pics are of what the dealer posted online. They will hold it for me until I return stateside in January. I can't wait to see it in person and take that first drive!

Nice! I was looking at this car to buy also. It was in Maryland?
I was wonderintg about the DVD headrests, if they were factory or not. Someone had mentioned to me that they were not a factory option until 2009 and I am new to all things Mercedes.

Its located in Allston Massachusetts and its a one owner lease return. I'm not sure if the previous owner added the DVD media option at a later date or if it came like that from the factory. I can check on the service records to see if it was added or pull up the original options list through the VIN at the dealer to see if it came like that from the factory.

Sorry bro, but I'll never sell my 2006 SLK55. I rather it's look and style compared to the newer 2012 model and it's a lot of fun to drive. It's also the baby of the family.

I totally agreed with you on the 2012 model. It so boring looking to me. In my personal opinion, I think the post-2009 slk55 model is the best looking one. I really really like the post-2009 slk55 updated AMG bumper, steering wheel and side mirrors. The only down side on the post-2009 slk55 is, the 6/4 AMG brake caliper is no longer an standard feature.

I think this 2008 CLS63 blends in well with my '05 SL55 and '06 SLK55. I wanted this particular year model E, CLS, or S class since they matched my stable better compared to the newly released models. I chose the CLS since it has a more sporty and sexy look. I'm very happy with my choice and it being Iridium Silver Metallic with the P030 option, which is the same color and option as my SLK55, it's a plus! All of my cars must match and blend together well. The CLS63 really stands out though!

Nice car! That DVD system is aftermarket and are you sure it has distronic? It does not have the collar on the cruise control stalk or the controller down by the shifter to adjust the distance maintained. If you send me the last 7 of the VIN I can e mail you a spec sheet.

Yeah, I recently searched but can't find any info on Mercedes offering the DVD system as an option. I know that this car was leased and registered as Commercial for business purposes so perhaps the owner added the aftermarket DVD system to entertain his clients.

I could have sworn I saw the controller for Distronic down on the shifter in some of the pics, but now that you brought it to my attention I guess I was thinking of pics from a similar car. The dealer only list it having the P02 and P030 Packages, but they don't list the stand alone options like the CF interior and Parktronic. Yes, I'll send you the VIN in a PM and if you could please email me a spec sheet for it I would greatly appreciate that, thanks bro! This is the second car I purchase while being overseas and not seeing it or driving it before hand, which may seem a little crazy to some. I really like the fact that some dealers will actually hold the car I want until I return stateside. But I do check it over and test drive it before I sign the final signature.

The service history states it having the Drive belt tension pulley replaced twice, the Air injection pump replaced, the Fuel level sending unit replaced, and a Cylinder head gasket replaced. I know the drive-belt tension pulley replacement is somewhat common, but the head gasket is a little weird. Like (Cylinder Head) said in another thread.. "you're really betting that Hans didn't rock too hard at Oktoberfest when he built your M156". I guess Hans did so before he built this one! LOL! I'm OK with it having some issues here and there, I mean it is used, but as long as they were fix correctly then that's all that matters.

The pics the dealer posted online are a little crappy but I know once I see it in person I'll be impressed and fall in love with it. The CLS is an amazing model, it just reeks pure sex on wheels! I'm not sure what to expect from the 63 since I never drove one, but it being an AMG I'm sure the power is spot on. I can't wait to give it to my girl so she can impress her clients.

Live it up is my philosophy. Being deployed most of the year in this crap hole sandbox makes me yearn for the finer things in life and when it comes to rides nothing is finer than AMGs! Yeah, that dealer seems to have good deals on a great selection of vehicles. Once I get debriefed in DC I'm flying straight there to sign the final paperwork. I never been to Boston MA so it'll be my first time there and I'm staying the night which will be my first night back in the US. That means I'm getting wasted in Boston!!

Yeah, one requirement was that it had to have the P030 Performance Package and the additional Black CF interior was a huge bonus since my SLK55 has the Black CF interior. But the main requirement was that it needed to be silver and match one of my cars. My SL55 is Brilliant Silver and my SLK55 and the CLS63 are Iridium Silver Metallic, so that's pretty cool. My only one regret is that my SL55 does not have the P030 option. I did purchase some P030 sterling silver wheels for it so all 3 cars will be sporting the same style of wheels. OK, I'm a poser.. F-it!!
