Can someone school me on the brakes for the CLS55

So I am almost 99% sure my next car will be a CLS55... sometime this spring when I find the "right one"

One of the first trips I will be taking with it, is a 2k mile fundraising rally(gumball style) from Boston to the Tail of the Dragon. Now I did a similar run in my old E46 M3 and one of the check points was a mountain... on the way down the mountain I found my brake pedal to be very gummy... the car behind me warned me my brakes were smoking and I was getting very close to losing my brakes down a mountain(yay!)

So I suspect already the brakes on the CLS are going to be more than enough but just in case... what are my options for upgrading the system a little bit? SS lines even an option with the SBC brakes and a flush with Ate Superblue? What is the difference between the 030 brakes and the regular 55 brakes? Is that an easy upgrade to do? Any other ideas?

My ML and m3 were the same way... Not sure how much I'm going to do to the cls. I say I want kleeman k2, but we'll see. Soo much I want to do to it.

Anyone in our area with Star diagnostic to lower it?
