Renntech ECU / Sprint booster or not?

On CLS55 Renntech obviously the ECU was tuned by Renntech , would one still benefit from a Sprint booster or would it clash with the tuned ECU ? I remember the Sprint booster was the best bang for the buck I ever used on the N/A M113

Sorry, not trying to thread jack but after reading your post I have to ask. What do you mean by it being the best bang for the buck on a N/A M113 motor?

I have been debating on buying a sprint booster but have read many comments from people calling it "snake oil".

No hijack at all ..I would do some reading on it on the W210 E55 forum .. it simply adjusts the throttle response making it far more responsive .. the one on my E55 is the older model which only had one setting , the current ones have a model where it has three different settings , which you can adjust ..
I personally LOVED it on that engine , way before I started adding bunch of mods to it ..

Thank you for the kind words, yes it came with it plus.. when I called Bob Brady at Renntech before I bought the car , his words were " That car has everything we offer for the CLS " , car came with the ECU / TCU pulley, Renntech throttle body, ELM , Carbon fiber airboxes, long tube headers, renntech full exhaust mufflers, rear carbon fiber diffuser, Renntech front brakes( 16" rotors ) and rear brakes , last are the 20" renntech 3pc wheels !! those are the only item that will have to change only because chrome is not my first choice ! top it off I Bought the CLS at 34K miles

I wouldn't mess with Sprintboost since you already have the Renntech tune. If your issue is that you wanted more response throttle wise, you should call Renntech to see if they can do a custom tune on the dyno for you to give it a more recent ECU flash. I'm willing to bet that their stage 5 package tune is a standard plug and play tune they use for that set up. Call them and see what they can do as far as fine tuning. Hope this helps.

Thank you most probably you are right .. I would assume that the throttle response would be part of their ECU tune .....I havent yet taken the car to Renntech .. I just havent had the time , but I a m planning to .. it would be best for them to go through the entire car and give me report . Thanks again, Max
