POSSIBLY selling my CLS 63 N/A

I have always been thinking about getting a stupid fast 2-door. The CLS gives a push every time, and makes me giggle like a girl. But. I feel slow now after driving it for a while. I always thought of tuning it/modifying it, but I just didn't have the heart to modify it. I always backed away.

Should I keep it, modify it?

I never buy new cars because of depreciation so used is the way im going. Anything under 70k suggestions would be nice, and also like many other forum members out there I pay without any monthly payments, etc. So the depreciation factor for me is big.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a 2-door, I was thinking CTS-V or Z06 Vette, completely different cars, I know, but anything to go fast, and big enough to carry my golf bag/ grocery.

I was thinking a 65 as well...

Auction, $45k 16k miles... Almost 2 years ago, now currently with 22k miles.

I always had more money to spend, its just that I found a really good deal on this particular one.

How about a 997tt? I think that might fit the bill for what you're looking.

Yeahhh, I was thinking about it, but I do full payment on my cars and $100k for the new one is making me iffy. Not that I cant buy it, its just that I just KNOW it'll depreciate big time.

As fast as it is... I dont really like Porsche's.... The only Porsche I would ever get would be the Carrera GT which is well out of my price range.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Same here. I see no point in getting cars new since they depreciate so fast; esp cars I have an interest in.

What about a R35 GTR?!...big enough to fit golf bags and two rear passengers, and mega amount of zoom although with less emotion.

Lol, see that's the thing. I want to go fast and giggle at the same time, I don't want to just go fast, also I think the GTR looks unattractive at a million different angles and it's not gonna be comfy. I'm sure of that.

I was thinking maybe Z06, ZR1, or an SL65 but I really just don't know what I could get... CTS-V is hella fast, but it won't have the nice things you get from a German car like... The attention to detail and the quality materials...

Maybe I want a car that's not out right now?

Or too expensive.

Idekkkkk... Oh, and I also want something unique, you don't see many CLS AMG's around where I live...

So rarity is also another factor.

rare, yes.
beautiful, sure.
fast, hell yeah.
2-door, yeah.

"wow" factor- ehhhhh

Its all about how fast it goes, how good it looks, how rare it is, and how people see it as.

My mom told me last week she was like "oh look, theres your car." And I wanted to kill myself because it was just a regular CLS 550 w/the AMG body on it...and she also thought a regular S550 was a better car than mine... maybe its just women, but I realized a lot of people are like that. The CLS is an attention grabber, for sure. But they would think a regular A5/7 would be a better car (which is definitely not true)

The same goes for many AMG's ...EXCEPT the new ones....

I want something that people will remember, not "oh its just another Benz"

And if my VERY last resort is to get the newer AMG's....then, IDK what to say...

I think the SLS fits the bill. It answers all your requirements, except the part about carrying golf bags and two passengers in the back. But if you are thinking of Vette and SL, then SLS will be for you.

CLS55
Just by reading everything it seems like you would prefer to stick to the CLS body style but you just need more power. Here's what I suggest.

1) Keep the CLS63 and throw on a Weistec supercharger kit. You should be able to feel the power you've been looking for.

2) Sell the the CLS63 and opt for a CLS55 so you can add some awesome power mods and feel the power.

Unfortunately the CLS63 W219 platform has very limited amounts of upgrades currently available but I'm sure that will change within time. The CLS55 W219 has so many mod options available (because of the Supercharged platform) and this should be a route you might consider. You keep talking about the rare factor. They only made the CLS55 for one year. That's kinda rare

2019 E 450 4 matic wagon, cadilliac CTS AWD performance ,2018 VW Tiguan SUV 2006 CLS55 030pkg modded
sell or modd or buy something else

Here's my 2 cents .

1st ask yourself , do I really want to modd or not . Their modds that well make this car as fast hell. So thats really not the issue
2nd Either buy another car foreign performance or American performance
3rd If you buy something else pick your choice carefully , you mentioned V's or Vette.
4th Test drive what your interested in V's , vettes , GTR, what every car your interested in

If I was going to buy anthing used car other than a AMG , 55 or 63 TT or 65. I would seriously look at used GTR, used CTS-V coupe or wagon their the best looking and low production , Vettes are nice but interior to dam cheap , tell the all new C7 comes out .
This is my opinion and Im just trying to give u Ideas based on your car interests.

seems like you really dont know what you want. Go and test drive several different ones and make the decision. End of the day, always some other car faster, nicer and newer than the one you drive.
