Advice Please: Is newer better?
Hi every one,
I am new here and to Merc's.
I am looking to buy either a late CLS55 or a early CLS63, I have done loads of searches on many topics already But...
I'm Just wondering if I went for a CLS55 instead of a newer CLS63 would I need to be worried in regards to reliability, servicing problems etc, because it would be older? or is it better to go for newer as possible?
I will try to find the cleanest one possible with the lowest mileage of course.
Thanks

08 CLS63 AMG
I've got an 08 cls63 and from what I've seen the 55s are much more upgradeable. The 63 has had zero reliability issues. Can't speak for the 55s. Best of luck and keep us posted - I love the hell out of mine and would buy another tomorrow.

welcome to the forum,
buying used always makes me wonder how the previous owner treated the vehicle obviously.....
and plus all cars have those quirks later in their lives......providing chances to visit dealers or better yet, Indy shops that specialize....
then again, if you like to modify your car and change things about, then these cars are fun for that, and this huge worldwide network of Benz fans and drivers make it much more interesting and helpful when issues do arise, which they will, even with newer cars...but that's hopefully where a warranty or extended warranty would help.....
good luck
