MALFUNCTION WARNING

Hello,

I have an 06 cls55 30k miles. Issue is as stands, sometime and i say sometimes because it happens at random i will get in my car and after a couple seconds of being on i get an ESP malfunction please take to shop and an ABS malfunction take to shop warning. I bought the car about 5k miles ago it didnt happen till about 2k miles after i had the car, it started turning on everyday for about 2 weeks, it went away for about a month and lately it has been happening about once a week maybe once every other week. When esp warning comes on (sometimes after about 10 15 minutes of driving) i cant take off the esp, brakes feel fine except a funny noise every now n then with a slight pedal shake i might call it,it feels like it comes from the brake pedal but never happens with the warning light and car brakes fine. Is any of this normal to you guys? I come from owning Z06s and american trucks I still have a lot to learn from the germans.

If it were me, I'd replace your front battery. If it is going or not holding charge, funny things may happen as it is supposed to power you fly by wire system. Its only about 80 bucks at autozone, get the one that is same size as yours when you take it in, it's a sealed motorcycle battery, not the kind you add water to. It's located in pasenger side of engine bay near under the plastic, there are threads on hear that detail the swap. takes about 15 min when you know what you are doing. Just a thought as 80 bucks may save you some headache. good luck
