Tinted tail light swap for stockers...
Hello everyone, been lurking for quite some time and I finally got a "new to me" CLS55. I like everything the previous owner did except the tinted tail light lenses. They seem to be professionally done and are in perfect shape, I just prefer the classic look. I think they would look better on a darker colored car (black or grey)
I'd like to revert back to the stock look and was wondering if anyone was interested in a swap. I'm willing to pay shipping both ways.

Thank you, and I agree regarding the "Black Series" badge.
Once I get a chance to tinker I'm gonna remove all trunk badges and just leave the blacked out star.

Vinyl wrapped roof...
Its actually a matte carbon wrap. I love all the other carbon bits like the front and rear spoilers and mirrors, but I don't know how I feel about the roof yet. I'm considering removing it, but figured I'd give it some time to see if it grows on me.

Yes the carbon bits looks good; maybe try the gloss carbon wrap for the roof? (if you manage to like how it looks on your car right now) -- it's more shiny and reflective.

Just take them to your local body shop.
Have them color sand the taillights, removing the smoke.
Then the will just clear over both taillights and they will be back to OEM.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words.
I was suppose to trade with a fellow member this past Monday, but we're still dealing with Sandy's aftermath and now this snow storm. I'll let you know if he's changed his mind.
The tail lights were professionally painted and clear coated. The pics were taken on an overcast day, and honestly they're not as dark as they seem.
The rear diffuser was one of the reasons I bought the car. Its an aftermarket bumper with real carbon fiber (don't know who manufactures it). The trunk spoiler, front lip, grill and mirrors are all CB as well. He also wrapped the inside with the same CB weave used on the roof.
Here's a shot of the rear, inside, steering wheel I ordered and rims I'm considering. Opinions are greatly appreciated, I wanna do this right the first time around.

CLS550 AMG Pkg.
Those wheels are sick, love the concave look. That steering wheel is really nice too, I want to upgrade mine from the dated 06-08 style, but just cant justify the $1k+ price tag.
