Hey guys / gals. Just discovered that my HID ballast on my drivers side has gone bad. NO idea how or why. But i of course went through the process of swapping the igniter over to the other side. Swapping the bulbs, and eveything works on the other ballast. So it has lead me to beleive that the ballast on the drivers side has gone bad some how. Now i have found a replacement ballast and cable. the issue now lies in how in the hell do i remove the light and get to the ballast its self., has anyone done this or is there a tech manual some where that explains this process ?? Are you using an aftermarket ballast or the stock mercedes one for your HID set up?

 

It's the stock Mercedes one .

 

How did you get to the ballast?

 

the front bumper had to pulled off, had my indi dealer take care of it for me.
