Fuel Smell

This is significant.... I can't even drive my car.

Dealership said I needed to replace my Gas tank and my left sending unit... $3020.06. Is this for real?

Why would I need to replace the entire tank when in the notes the advisor says:

"The fuel tank is leaking at breezer fitting at center of the gas tank"

Why not replace the BREEZER FITTING? Can this be done?

The advisor goes on to say ", and the left fueld sending unit. need to replace the gas tank and sending unit"

Anyone else had these same issues?

My warranty that I bought with the car said that it was a previous issue before I bought the car.... I bought the car two months ago... and the fuel smell never happened the first three weeks.

Your thoughts.

Spend $300 to have a good lawyer speak to the warranty company. both sending units needs to be replaced every 60,000, Tank should be covered.
