Thumbs up "stock" cls55 beats 2013 zl1 camaro w/ vid

So, I went to the track yesterday after installing my new heat exchanger and cm30 pump, which btw, was a pain in the *** because the e55 exchanger doesnt line up with the cls frame. I had to drill new holes. Also I could never seem to get it to the point that the system would turn the pump on automatically so I bypassed it and have it running all the time. Previous to this I dont know if my pump ever ran.

Anyway, my previous best was a 12.9 at 108 mph on an 80degree day with horrible humidity. This time around it was a completely different animal. My first run of the day i posted a 12.158 at 118.5mph. I raced and beat the 2013 camaro zl1 which has 580 hp stock and weighs nearly the same. This guy had intake and corsa exhaust so maybe a little more. He said it dynoed 515whp stock before he added the intake and exhaust.

So what gives? Did the simple addition of the heat exchanger really gain me nearly a second and 10mph in the trap speed? Or has my motor previously been tuned that Im not aware of?

By my calculations, my whp should be nearer 500 to run that time and beat the zl1. Looking at dragtimes.com, my slip is the 7th fastest cls55 and all those above me have at least a tune.

Heres a vid from that race:

Wow, great run!! I would think one of two things; either your car has been tuned by the previous owner/s as you mentioned...Or the zl1 maybe slept at the line? You definitely had a good launch though with zero wheel spin so that helped. Either way, take that W and run with it!

yeah, the zl1 definitely didnt launch it well, but when he did get traction he didnt make up hardly any ground. You'd think his extra 110+ horsepower would have something to say about that.

+35 deg c IAT timing retarded 3.5 deg
+45 deg c IAT timing retarded 6.3 deg
+65 deg c IAT timing retarded 9.6 deg

you are most probably right, but that doesnt explain where this extra horsepower came from. By all the calculators I could find, my car would need at least 475whp to make that run. How do I find out if its been tuned?
