so do you mean it was impossible to change to the 3spokes steering wheel?

Yes, very easy to do as long as you get same wheel and airbag. Has been done before.

I have done it with my couple of my previous cars (not cls), but I have seen other people do it on the CLS. I believe there was a recent post on the W211 AMG section where one of the members upgraded to the flat bottom without a problem.

I've been curious about this too for my build

I know the steering wheel will fit from the 4 spoke to the 3 spoke but will the buttons still work with the car interface and command unit? I know the new 2012 steering wheels wont
