AM vs AMG
Hey everyone,
I've been curious recently about the difference in driving between any Aston Martin model or maybe specifically the Rapide VS the CLS55/63 or any other AMG model?
Anyone here has owned or driven an AM and AMG? Please i would appreciate your input. I would love to know more about the difference in comfort, luxury, speed etc.

I've driven AMGs and Astons. I'm more familiar with the DB9, which is unlike anything Mercedes builds. As for the Rapide S/ CLS63 comparison, a CLS63 is about $100K. The Rapide S costs more than double that figure and the money is well spent. Someone else's money, not mine - the market is still paying way too much to tie up $200K in a car. The Rapide is stunningly beautiful, and just in case someone didn't see it, you can hear the car from quite a distance.
However, in the very near future you’ll be posting a very different question. Like the Pagani, AMG has agreed to do the next generation of Aston engines. Unlike Pagani, Aston has also commissioned AMG to build transmissions and electronics. The entire AMG Aston article can be read here. Click the center of the magazine and turn to page 62.
