cls55 engine problem

My problem that every mooring car cranks but no start,, i replace the two batteries and chek alternator was fine,, when i try two or 3, times to start the starter will cranks only and finally it well burne,, so far i replace 3 starters.

Yes, start by replacing the crank position sensor. Good chance this is the problem, but even if it is not the problem, the sensor is inexpensive and could fail at anytime anyways.

Yup CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR> i just replaced this a while ago having the same problems you are having. Easy to do your self. part is about 50-60 US Dollars. And takes about 30 min MAX to take care of. Best of luck.

If I may please update your profile. Second replace your crank sensor as that is most likely the problem. Generally they go by getting hard to start when hot but not always. Lastly if that CLS doesn't start within 3 cranks stop! You've spend a bunch replacing starters for a 50 dollar part.

If you already replaced the CPS and still giving you problem then you might want the dealer to check the ECU. The CLS and E have that problem. I changed mine out few months ago because of that. Plus, the CPS should only give you problem when the car engine is hot like vvrjrlaw said. If it's cold in the morning and still won't start I would look into the ECU.
