CLS 63 amg Transmission problem?
Hello, I'm new to this site and to the benz world. I own a 2007 CLS 63 amg, I recently bought it. I'm noticing a a jerk when the car downshifts from 5th to 4th gear, even more so when my a.c. is on. I'm thinking it cant be tranny cause of such high gears. Anyway hoping to get some help from here before I start spending money at a mechanic. Thanks in advance

I don't know when the teeny was serviced cause I bought it from a private seller but according to him not too long ago he flushed the tranny. I am skeptical if it is tranny which I don't think because transitions usually jerk at lower gears as they are striped and it get harded to grip.. also its a German made tranny and their not easy to go..

Not sure how to explain properly but i have noticed right after starting when i let off the gas for whatever reason i feel a sudden loss of power like it wants to stall out. goes away immediately though ?

Yeah I thought the same thing but I just don't get it. I feel a thump on the gear switch from 5th to 4th...I tried manual mode to see any difference and there was slightly but still wasn't a smooth down shift. And this is at low rpm..like when you're slowing down from 50

Take to the Dealer ASAP
I had a jerking issue with my 07... I took it in to get it looked at and they informed me that I needed a new Tranny replacement 
I only had 42K miles on my Tranny but I was out of warranty by 4 months (Based on yrs not miles). You don't even want to know what it cost me
