Looking for advice as to if I should buy this vehicle. It's a 2006 CLS amg with around 80k miles for 20k. Black on black, fully loaded. The other option is to spend extra 6k for a white exterior tan interior loaded one with around 60k on the clock. Both seem to be in good condition and both will be test driven vigorously before purchase. Anything I should look for with these vehicles? Much to the chagrin of my pals over on Audi world I will be switching MB but I'm keeping my 2005 A8L for the winter months😉. Input will greatly be appreciated.

Don't worry about the miles.

Buy the one with the best service history.

I was definitely going to do that. I'm no stranger to the German luxury, I'm a longtime Audi guy. So service history is very important. With that said, so are miles, though not equally.

The key is a service history. You want records and you want to read them. Mileage means nothing if the vehicle isn't properly maintained.

I'd rather pay 26 for the black one than 20 for the white/tan one but that's just personal preference. White/tan is a nice color combo for a minivan or a Honda civic

Prices were the other way around which makes what you're saying even better. I really don't care about exterior color as I'm known for getting my cars wrapped every couple years.
