My GPS, which has worked relatively flawlessly for a long time has had a long standing error code about a short in the GPS antenna.

It finally died. GPS Shows zero satellites.

I've done some searches, but haven't found any real information on alternate solutions to the sharkfin.

Has anyone repaired their antenna on a CLS? I saw some threads about S classes, but nothing specific to our car.
