Pictures of changing engine air filters and cabin filters on W219?
Also the cabin air filter changeout as well ... for the W219 CLS55 AMG?
Be nice to see exactly how it's done .
Cheers mates ... Popeye
There is no taking it all apart to change from the ordinary paper engine air filter to K&N. Do not cut the hose clamps that lead to the input of the supercharger. Just turn out the six 25mm torx screws. They are captive to the cover and in my case were probably never turned out before. Just back them out lift the cover, slip out the old filter, get a microfiber towel and spray on some 409 and cleanup the chamber where the filter lives. There will be a lot of sand and leaves and stuff in there. Then lift it up a couple inches again and slip in the K&N filter. Screw down the six torx screws and put on the front cover. Bada bing bada bang ...
There were only 2700 or so CLS55 AMG's made so this is just for those ....
