Potential purchase 2006 CLS55AMG
I'm looking to get back into AMG (sold my 05' E55) and I came across this guy who is selling his wife's 06 CLS55AMG. Now the good is the car is about to tickle 60000mi, clean title, no accidents and is impeccable on the inside, with only a scratch on the passengers door. The motor was dirty, and the guy said he services it at a Benz dealership but didn't have any paperwork with him. He said the last major service was somewhere between 45000-49000mi and has been doing oil changes etc. So I asked him to send me the service records on Monday. Now I know my e55 was a handful when it came to repairs etc, but what other things should I look for? Any issues with this motor that I should be looking for? If all goes well and he gets me the paper work, I'll set up an pre-inspection purchase over by the Benz dealer here in town.
He wants $25000
Just looking for some advice.

1. Tran oil & pan/filter
2. Rear end oil(limited slip)
3. 16 Spark plugs
4. Air & Cabin filters
Also there is TSB to change the valve cover gaskets due to faulty factory installation of the liquid applied sealant gasket. Mine was leaking. About $1200 USD.
Check front & rear pads/rotors. Brake fluid needs to be flushed every 24k mi. The front rotors alone are $1k each-rears alot less.
I will be changing my power steering fluid.
Other than the valve cover gaskets & maintenance, mine is bullet proof.

I Do a check on Carfax and its salvage title... What a goofball. I also find out he's the used car manager at the Chevy dealer in the Bay Area.
This was his craigslist

VIN comes back as a salvage title
