285/30/19 is the OEM rear tire. What kind of ride quality are you looking to achieve? Are you looking for performance? Comfort? Long wear life?

Keeping the thread narrowed down the the 19" wheels, I ended up going with Michelin PS4s 255/35/19 front 295/30/19 rear. I wanted something a little more performance oriented though. I haven't had them mounted up yet as my car is still at the shop.

[QUOTE=nkctb7;7975342]Hi everyone! I have the new wheels that are replacing the ADV.1 5.1 Flowspec but having a hard time deciding on the tire brand. It had 295 25 20 Toyo Proxes 4 plus on the rear and 245 30 20 Nitto Neo Gen on the front when I purchased the car. The Toyo's seemed like a very harsh ride and nothing very special in terms of aesthetics. The Nitto's are a better ride quality and have a far nicer tread pattern than the Toyo's. I'm looking to run a 315 or 325 25 20 in the rear and a 255 or 265 30 20 in the front. Would a 30 profile in the rear make much of a difference in ride quality? Anyone have any suggestions on what I should look at? I was thinking Pirelli P Zero Nero GT's or Michelin Pilot Super Sports as there's a lot of deals out there on Ebay. Im currently running a 325/25/20 rear no issues whatsoever. And I’m running a 275/30/20 front with slight rubbing when turning into an incline but nothing under normal circumstances. I am running the cheapest tire I can find which are lionharts they feel fine!

Thx FLTHY 55!

I'm located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I'm needing tires that are good in wet weather driving as well. The Pilot Super Sports appear to be the best as they offer the sizes that I want in both the front and rear. I have never owned Pirelli's and wonder how they compare to Michelin. I've read the reviews but I wanted to know if anyone has ever had them on their CLS.

Not looking for a touring ride quality but a little in between. The ride quality was a tad harsh but I'm pretty certain that was due to the tires.

How are you finding the Lionhart's? Did they balance out fine when having them mounted? There's some pretty decent reviews on them. The only model available in the sizes I need are the LH-Five. I'm wondering how they compare to the Lexani LX-Twenty's and if they're made in the same plant in China.

they balanced out fine, ride quality is nice. I have no complaints at all with them. Beats paying almost $4,000 for tires compared to the Michelin’s, bfg’s, toyos and other brands.

Great to hear, FLTHY 55! I was doing a lot of research and I'm sold on the Lionhart's! From what I've read, the LH-FIVE are the only model that come in a 325 25 20. Is that what you're running? I see that you're going back to 19's soon. Thx

Yes I’m running the 325/25/20 and I’m only going back to 19’s so I can run the same series tire and have the car sit a little lower!

I see! In regards to the rubbing issue, did you ever have a full car with your current setup? I'm going with 265's in the front and 325 in the rear. I'm honestly concerned about encountering any rubbing issues. In your opinion, will I be fine? Thx again!

the only rubbing was in the front but I was and am still running 275/30/20 it was VERY SLIGHT rubbing only when turning up into an incline. It is so minimal I don’t even care or notice anymore. With 265 you should be fine. With the 325’s in the rear never had any issues at all and I believe we can get away with possibly a “dare I say it” 345 in the rear!!!

Thanks again for all your input and advice FLTHY 55! It is greatly appreciated! I'll post pics of the new wheels and tires in a week or two!

Do you think I'll be fine with this

20x9 35mm front 265 30 20
20x11.5 30mm rear 325 25 20

I'm trying to imagine the inner and outer clearance compared to how your car looks in the photos.

Keep in mind I’m no expert but I try to make an educated guess when it comes to my rims. In your case I think you’ll run into clearance issues on the inside on the rear and you’llbe very close to the outside edge of the front fender if not past the fender

I checked an offset configurator and the +35 front will actually be further inside than a +20. I currently have a +35 19" Brabus V with a 255 front and there's a huge amount of clearance so I'm not worried about the 20" 265 30 20 fronts. The rear is only a 3mm difference compared to your setup so it is the outer edge that will be 3mm further out than your setup.

Are you able to please shoot some quick picks of the rear clearance around the front, rear and upper parts of the rear wheel wells on your car! I'd greatly appreciate it! If your clearance is already close to the fender then 3mm is pretty significant. If there's quite a bit of room, then 3mm is irrelevant! 👍

Hey FLTHY 55. The 19" Brabus +35 that I put on my car has a 265 width tire and there was a ton of clearance. The back is the only one I'm concerned about as I was debating on going with a 305 or 315 max width. The 325 might be a little too close to the fender. I'll wait to see your pics as that will determine for certain as my wheel will be 3mm more towards the fender. Could you please shoot a pic from the ground that views straight up towards the fender! I just want to see the exact clearance between the tire and fender. Thanks again! Below is a pic of the Brabus 19's and the other is the ground clearance under the car with the 19's.

here are a couple pics

All are of the rear let me know if you want a different angle or something. There is plenty of room towards the fender. Yes I was confusing the offsets

Thx FLTHY 55! Could you please take one pic as close to the wheel as possible pointing directly upwards towards the fender! I would like an idea of how far out my wheel will stick out! Please and thank you! Also, is your car raised in any of the photos?

tried toGet a couple good angles. Let me know if this helps. My car is on the lowest setting not raised. Also as you can see I swapped to lug studs! They are a blessing when taking rims on and off!! Follow my name on instagram if you are so inclined.

Thanks again FLTHY 55! Could you please take one more photo facing straight at the wheel and fender with your vehicle running in park (driving height)! Are you absolutely certain that the back doesn't rub the fender well? I'm not saying that it is, but I see black residue on your fender lip that could be just dirt. My rear wheel will sit 3mm closer to the lip but I'm not certain that a thinner rear tire will make much of a difference when looking at where the wheel itself sits. I purchased the tires via Amazon Prime and they only offered the Lionhart LH-FIVE 265 30 20 and 325 25 20 sizes with Prime. If I need to return them at least the return shipping is free. I'm just wondering if I should go back to a 295 or 305 as I don't want any rubbing period.

I'm just wondering if I should go back to a 295 or 305 as I don't want any rubbing period.

that is my driving height. I drive on the lowest setting sport2 I believe and with my setup I have absolutely no rubbing on the rear I’m positive! the dirt you see is from when I removed the tires this evening.
