285/30/19 is the OEM rear tire. What kind of ride quality are you looking to achieve? Are you looking for performance? Comfort? Long wear life?

Keeping the thread narrowed down the the 19" wheels, I ended up going with Michelin PS4s 255/35/19 front 295/30/19 rear. I wanted something a little more performance oriented though. I haven't had them mounted up yet as my car is still at the shop.

Im currently running a 325/25/20 rear no issues whatsoever. And I’m running a 275/30/20 front with slight rubbing when turning into an incline but nothing under normal circumstances. I am running the cheapest tire I can find which are lionharts they feel fine!

The Pilot Super Sports appear to be the best as they offer the sizes that I want in both the front and rear. I have never owned Pirelli's and wonder how they compare to Michelin. I've read the reviews but I wanted to know if anyone has ever had them on their CLS.

Not looking for a touring ride quality but a little in between. The ride quality was a tad harsh but I'm pretty certain that was due to the tires.

It is so minimal I don’t even care or notice anymore. With 265 you should be fine. With the 325’s in the rear never had any issues at all and I believe we can get away with possibly a “dare I say it” 345 in the rear!!!

I currently have a +35 19" Brabus V with a 255 front and there's a huge amount of clearance so I'm not worried about the 20" 265 30 20 fronts. The rear is only a 3mm difference compared to your setup so it is the outer edge that will be 3mm further out than your setup.

Are you able to please shoot some quick picks of the rear clearance around the front, rear and upper parts of the rear wheel wells on your car! I'd greatly appreciate it! If your clearance is already close to the fender then 3mm is pretty significant. If there's quite a bit of room, then 3mm is irrelevant! 👍

The back is the only one I'm concerned about as I was debating on going with a 305 or 315 max width. The 325 might be a little too close to the fender. I'll wait to see your pics as that will determine for certain as my wheel will be 3mm more towards the fender. Could you please shoot a pic from the ground that views straight up towards the fender! I just want to see the exact clearance between the tire and fender. Thanks again! Below is a pic of the Brabus 19's and the other is the ground clearance under the car with the 19's.

Are you absolutely certain that the back doesn't rub the fender well? I'm not saying that it is, but I see black residue on your fender lip that could be just dirt. My rear wheel will sit 3mm closer to the lip but I'm not certain that a thinner rear tire will make much of a difference when looking at where the wheel itself sits. I purchased the tires via Amazon Prime and they only offered the Lionhart LH-FIVE 265 30 20 and 325 25 20 sizes with Prime. If I need to return them at least the return shipping is free. I'm just wondering if I should go back to a 295 or 305 as I don't want any rubbing period.

that is my driving height. I drive on the lowest setting sport2 I believe and with my setup I have absolutely no rubbing on the rear I’m positive! the dirt you see is from when I removed the tires this evening.
