Got my fuel sending unit on my 55 replaced on thursday (at the MB dealership).
On sunday the car suddenly misfired like crazy during downshift+acceleration. A few min later it just stalled. Hard to start after and it stalled once more. Didn’t try to start it 3rd time.
No codes when I plugged in my obd reader.
So I went under the seat to look at the new sending unit and saw that the new one didn’t have the adapter cable, which I thought the new improved sending unit required. But again, the car drove fine from thurs to mid sunday so that might not be the issue? Can also tell oil level is fine and O2 sensors recently replaced. I’ll also add a picture of the part numbers used for the repair from the receipt.
Could it be the fuel pump on the right side? Any suggestions? Car is back at the mechanic but haven’t got a date for when they will look at it.
