Also invested in a new OEM Mercedes AMG serpentine belt (made by Gates). I already bought a new Contitech belt, but it was shorter: 6PK2445 vs 6K2449. But when I removed the Contitech belt, something else sparked my interest...
The Gates OEM belt is way thicker than the Contitech belt! I am glad that I invested the 75euro for this belt

Both the supercharger and accessory belt are special for AMG by Gates. You can see it on the oval stamp next to "Made in Spain". I just bought both from the dealership a couple of months ago:
I think:
- A1139970192 (fat): Supercharger
- A1139970292 (skinny): Accessory

@CDC55AMG
My example is the serpentine belt. I bought a green Gates HD belt for the supercharger
For the serpentine belt, I would highly recommend/urge you to buy the OEM option as there is a clear difference between the OEM solution and aftermarket solution.

Thank you ND and CQhall for posting the Gates AMG belt part numbers. I have a green HD belt for supercharger (83mm pulley & BWK) and a Continental for accessory drive that I got from FCPEURO. Only has a few hundred miles on it but when I change it out will be the the Gates AMG. I found on my Porsche 944s I've had that the OE Gates (made in UK) was superior than the Contitech belt for a timing belt. Anyone use the Gates RPM series belt made for belt driven supercharger systems? Thanks!

These should be applicable for our platform: https://www.gates.com/content/gates/...%20--%201482.8

@C_Note Doesnt seem like it, read the description below. I ordered the K080507RPM and will be comparing it when I receive it. I think the RPM belt is grippier

Same over here, I also dont want to go crazy with a smaller pulley. I will put Midsize or Longtubes over a smaller pulley
My belt will arrive somewhere next week.

I was notified with dreaded SBC error messages. I hooked up the scanner and it pointed to the brake light switch.
Error C261E
Pushing the brake pedal showed pressure being built, which is a good sign.
New OE sensor from the local MB dealer, only costs 11 euro (aftermarket 7-10 euro).
Location of the brake switch
Old vs new

Also took the liberty to replace the AUX battery (while Im in there). Voltage looked ok, but I dont trust the word of the previous owner (he told me he replaced it). Total costs about 50 euro, which isnt expensive
New Exide battery

Thanks to @UncleBenz55 , swapped the ugly blue cap for the wiper fluid with a black&yellow one. Apparently, the pre-facelift E-class had a better looking cap
Used some yellow paint for touchup

Went out filming earlier today and shot a picture (because why not )
Took a screengrab from one of the videos, love the autumn vibe. Hopefully online later this evening...
