Suspension problem - is it the bag or valves/etc?
Hi all,
I have a problem with a low mileage 2006 CLS 55 AMG. There was no trouble with the suspension before storing it for winter couple of months ago, and after a few weeks we noticed the suspension sagging. Now, I warmed up the car two weeks ago and measured the distance between rim and fender, and after two weeks it is -5cm (2 inches) on the rear right corner, -1.5cm on rear left and front right, and no noticeable sagging on front left at all.
On a previous merc with airmatic I had similar issues and it ended up being the bag on front right that was leaking, but it was a lot of hit and miss before getting to that conclusion. I would prefer to avoid such hit and miss with this one, so is there any way to confirm if it's the bag or something else? And if it's the bag, can just the bag be replaced on this car on front and back? Or are there other parts needed?

Actually I have STAR, and I was surprised that there was no guided tests available in it for the CLS55 like there was for GL X164. The only test that the STAR had available was reservoir/compressor pressure test, there was no valve block tests or such like there was for the GL. Have you found these tests on STAR for C219 CLS55?

I have an Autel. You can also do the initial startup sequence, just to play with the values to see what is happening. Just dont save the values then.
