2006 CLS 55 will be in dealer next March

ordered my cls55 today to replace my e55. plain old silver and black with xenons only. possible march delivery. i thought my e55 was the perfect sedan but at 98% satisfaction the cls55 is 100% perfect. ill simply swap out the hre 547r's (if theyll fit) and be content... until evo's stage 3 or course!

by the way, read in a car mag that this is the only year this car will look the way it does due to 2007 german (or all of europe) new front crash standards that hoods and front ends will have to be taller!!! yikes, that could look...um...interesting!?!?

Where'd you order yours from? I placed a deposit on the CLS55 back in July and still no word yet.
I too plan on taking off the HREs and hopefully take out the Renntech Pulley and slap it in the CLS.

I am looking for a good dealer in Southern California to put a deposit on a CLS55 to replace my E55. I just want a dealer that will keep me updated and not let someone else take my spot. Any suggestions?

Call Mark Newton at House of Imports Mercedes-Benz. He is very nice and doesn't play price games.

Thanks Al, I went down to House of Imports and met Mark Newton. Very nice guy. I ordered the CLS55 in Iridium Silver with Charcoal interior. I got the Premium Package, Lighting Package, Keyless Go and High Gloss Laural wood. The Premium Package is great, it has almost everything you could want-Nav, Ventilated Seats, Drive Dynamic Seats, CD Changer, Power Rear Window Sunshade. The only con is I am really dissapointed that I cant get Black Birds Eye Maple like on my E55. That wood is the *****. I am number 5 on the list and my car will be delivered in late April or early May. Its gonna be a very long 5-6 months but from what I have seen of the CLS55, it will be worth every minute and every penny! Thanks for the recommendation!
