Got a special inventation today from BRABUS, by the Orange County Airport, to see the CLS55 on 12/13/04 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM! I will let you know what I think after I get back.

Went to the showing last night at "Brabus". I can honestly tell you guys that I was STUNNED at how good looking this car is. I kept walking around it, and around it, trying to find an angle that it looked awkward at and that awkward angle doesn't exist! It is low, sleek, and good-looking. This thing ROCKS!!!
The CLS was black on Black with 20" wheels, lowered at least 1.5". The front wheels were 9" wide and the rear wheels were 10.5" wide,. The first impression I got when I sat in the CLS was how sporty it felt inside. The over all impression is, as if you are sitting in a sports car not a four door sedan. The interior space is on the snug side but still comfortable (I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 215 lbs.) and has a very high quality feel to it.
I'll try a post some pictures as soon as I can.

rsteele - When I mentioned snug I did not mean someone our size could not be comfortable. What I was referring to is you feel held in place snugly behind the wheel. As for the short side windows, I did not feel as if I had to raise the seat any more than I normaly do (which, for me, is always the lowest seat position available) to have good vision out the side windows. I did not feel closed in weather I was sitting in the front seats or the rear seats, so the side window height is not an issue with me.

I sat in the back seat of the CLS and had my 6'2" tall buddy sit in the front seat so that he was comfortable and I was able to sit in the back seat (I am also 6'2" tall). It was snug but not uncomfortable. The back of the rear seats are recessed for your knees, which makes it possible for two guys our size to fit.

0-60 Swiftly - I have only sat in the back seat of the E55 once and if my memory serves me correctly I would say the CLS and the E55 are the same size.
