I will work on some interior pictures in the next day or so.

E55 Estates are on the ground. We have had our long enough to put 2K miles on it. Your dealer can specal order them. The rumor is they will only be bringing in 200 to the US.

Funny but it may be the lowest production AMG yet in the US market. It will be fun to see the resale value in a year or so.

Wagon residuals

I have a designo E55 wagon due this week, but the leases have gotten very costly because the residuals are lower than they used to be. The CLS55 has a 10 basis point better residual and lower lease costs.

Here is my garage, pretty much the non- AMG counterpart- SL600, CLS500 and E320 CDI (pretty rare here in CA). Your garage is definately the envy of this forum.

Whoooa

you are right it looks awesome with the windows tinted...looks perfect to me. I need to find the right tinter too, I guess a MB dealership is the best bet. Very HOT cars too man! Congrats on your success.

A dream stable, very good choice of rides

As far as driving is concerned, how do you experience the difference between E55 and SL65?

Totally different beasts!

The major difference is in the power delivery between the 5.5 Kompressor motor and the 6.0 Bi-Turbo V12. The V8's power delivery is much more smooth but the V12 pulls like a freight train. Traction is a small problem on the E and a huge problem on the SL.

Great cars but totally different animals. One is great for top down cruising and the other is the best sleeper on the road.

Enjoy!

Shoes --- Your non-AMG stable is pretty damn impressive! Love the backdrop.

Shoes,

I second that, I would gladly trade my view for that of Napa Valley!

Enjoy!

How the hell did you get your hands on an E55 Wagon, its legit, cause in some of the pics you can see the E55 seats in it with the AMG emblem embedded in it. Thats sick man, what the heck do you do for a living???

TexAmg,

Your not doing too bad either! C6 and a CLS55!

As for the E55T, yes it is real. My wife loves the car. I am happy to say it may end up being the most exclusive AMG in the US. Finally an AMG car that I won't see parked all over the place......

Schiznick,

your E55 wagon seems to have the 2 piece 19" of the SL65. I am really interested to put those on a CLS55 (what do you think? you have both...).

How much did they charge you for that ? Could you pay only a difference in cost ?

This looks lime a darker finish on them....I am pretty sur I saw the same wheels with the regular brighter brush finish....can you confirm?

Thanks

They are the 2 piece 19" rims. They are in the standard finish. They may be a bit dirty ;-).....

I added them to the car after we got it. I did not get them from the dealer.

I love the 2 piece 19's but I like the CLS 19's much better in person than I thought I would. For now I am going to leave them as is.

I do think the SL65 color rims would look great on this car. Don't know if the offset from the SL65 rim will work on the car, it may....

Someone needs to check with Mercedes though, in the AMG brochures they say the SL65 has 9.5 in rear rims but when I had them off they measured 10..... Just like the SL55 Performance package rear rims.

Enjoy

Thanks for the info & advice. I did see the new AMG wheels in person and I agree with you...much better. That 's also true for the whole car...
Beautiful lineup....

I am still not taking delivery of my CLS AMG..I am very curious about the CLS63...Reality or not? I had a E55 2003...I want a new engine....
