I think we are all overdue for this thread, in fact I think it should be sticky'd!!!

For all the Modified C32s... either RENNTech, Evosport, Kleeman, MKB, ASP/Powerchip, ASP/GIAC, etc...

1. What is the best time (ET) you all have gone at the track (Drag Strip)?
2. What is the best MPH you have gone?
3. What was the temperature at the track for those times?
4. What mods do you have?
5. What kind of tires were you running?

I'll start...

1. Best ET: 12.7 @ 108MPH
2. Best MPH: 12.9 @ 110MPH
3. Temp: 75 degrees. Far. for ET, 69 degrees Far. for MPH
4. Mods: RENNTech Stage 1 (ECU and Pulley Kit), SL55 intake splitter, and Greenfilter USA filters
5. Tires: Nitto NT555 Extreme 265/35R18 (street radial, not Drag Radial)

I just posted my stock times and modded, I think I'll do some more mods. Maybe the full stage 2, headers, dr's and try again very soon.

The hotter ones. I think that they are the 16s. I remember some people using the 20s saying they were not happy with them, but I have been very happy with the 16s.

I should have also added in the post that my car has no sunroof or spare tire (which is how it came from the factory), which saves 125 lbs or so over a 2003.

wow, major weight reduction!!! Have you ever weighted your C32? Ive always ran my C32 at the track with 1/2 tank of gas or more and with spare tire and a trunk full of college books...lol!!! I jsut never taken weight into such a high account until now when I added up the weight of all the stuff I have in the car. My C32 is fully optioned out...sunroof, rear sunscreen, etc... minus the Navi. I guess some weight reduction could do the C32 some justice. I was thinking about getting 2 peice brake rotors next to reduce some unsprung weight.

I didnt know the C32 came w/o a sunroof though... its great to learn a new thing from a fellow enthusiest.. my hats off to you all.

Just a couple questions if you dont mind...
Have you ever weighted your C32? Also, do you think plugs/wires made any noticable difference in power/response?

The plugs wires, IMO, seemed to really change the power output at the very top of the RPM range.

As far as the weight, I keep meaning to take it to a scale. I will try and do so next week.

This thread has been overdue

1) Best ET: 13.16@107.7
2) Best MPH 13.33@108.3
3) Temp 19C or ~66F
4) Tires: Stock Michelin Pilots

Mods: Evosport Stage 1, SL 55 splitter, K&N Filters

I would not mind seeing C55's too as C55 owners - like me when I got my C32, were dying to know others experiences stock and modified to help make decisions on performance upgrades.
