Yesterday was my second time at the track. Beated my personal record by .6 seconds. Definetely the weather (mid 50s) is a huge factor to make a good run.

12.6 @ 111.56

My current mods:

Performance:
Renntech Pulley & ECU
Full 55 Intake Setup (Boxes & Splitter)
K&N Filters
Resonator Delete
Sprint Booster (?)

Cooling:
LET FMIC Heat Exchanger
Johnson CM30 Pump
Phenolic Spacers

You are right. I don't have a scanner so I took a picture of my best two runs. The first one was with the car basically in stock form (post #218 in this thread) and the other one is for post #251. I'm hoping to break 12.59xx next time I go.

Not Bad

So I did go to the track(Drag) today. Had some good runs. But damn traction control kept getting me. I had stock P-zero Rosso (Bald). 45 PSI front and 28 PSI in rear. Temp was 66 with strong 20-25 mph head-wind.

60 ft. 1/4 Mile Time Trap

Run 1: 2.08 13.15 105.81
Run 2: 2.17 13.25 106.33
Run 3: 2.29 13.40 106.23 Killed an M3
Run 4: 2.00 13.02 106.41
Run 5: 2.27 12.98 No Readout
Run 6: 2.19 13.09 107.42 Red Light
Run 7: 2.36 13.46 106.56
Run 8: 2.19 13.27 105.93

Not Bad. Im now in the 12 second club right?

I always thought depending on elevation that a pullied C32 will do 12s...those are high traps but then again I got 105.89 when stock so it should be about the same or more since I got the ECU tuned...you should do several runs with ESP off just heat up the tires prior to and ESP won't be so bothersome...I can't wait til our Spring drag session

It seems to me that he has too much wheel spin off the line. With a 107 trap, he should be hitting 12.7 ET.

I ran a 12.4x @ 111. My best mph was 113 or 114, which means I should be able to pull a 12.3 or 12.2. I too suffer from the wheel spin issue....as you know.

how come an IS350 can run that? curb weight is nearly identical, but power ratings is nearly 70/80 hp/tq less. unless the merc is rated on the older SAE ratings and /or gearing?

So it seems based off those stats a Stage 1+ C32 can hang or beat an IS-F..

C32 vs IS 350 or IS-F

So it seems based off those stats a Stage 1+ C32 can hang or beat an IS-F..

I had an 06 IS 350 and no way those timeslips are real. If so, I wanna see them since the best we ever did at Great Lakes Dragaway was high 13s/ low 14s at 101-103. I can see that for the IS-F with its 8 speed auto, but for the 350, no way. Were these slips posted or the figment of some Lexus owners fertile imagination?? I just don't see my old 350 being that quick or fast?? 300 HP at crank , Rear wheel drive with Traction control, lots of options meant heavier than the 3 pigs combined? Were these on a downhill 1/4 mile run?? Low 13s stock for the 350. No way!!! The C32 is still the big bad wolf of this class. Note too that the IS F is pushing $65 K with limited availability and is still being trumped by the new M-3. I'd imagine that a lightly equipped BMW 135 with the same engine as the 335 would run real close to the new ISF and in fact, with a few minor mods from BMW in Miami give the new M3 a real run for about 1/2 the price.

I went to the site and am still doubting that these are non-corrected times.

I went to the site and am still doubting that these are non-corrected times.

according to those times, it would be able to keep up or beat a C55, which makes me sad. its heavier and has less power. need to see dynos and slips.

Some slips are posted, BUT I remain incredulous of those times. The IS is certainly quick, BUT these times are ridiculous for a "stock" IS 350. I maintain that its still a high 13, low 14 car "stock." You have to beware of "corrected slips" too as they are not always shown. At Gt Lakes, we never saw these times and on 50 degree days, its a fast track.

When I had an IS350 I tried running away from an E46-M3 I saw about a 1/2 mile back and he was catching me surely. I can say they are quick but not C32/55 fast...especially if you are modded but who knows what people put under their hoods

No way in hell an IS350 runs low 13's, not even at HRP in Houston! Not stock anyway. 300 hp v6 in a 4-dr brick will NEVER run even mid-13's. Those guys are full of **** if they they are claiming to be stock.
