Spare tire – how big of a factor does it play in making your decision to purchase

OK. I refer to this thread and would like to do the same.

https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/83977-2005-mercedes-benz-c55-style-quad-exhaust-c32-amg.html

Now, I believe without ordering OEM C55 spare tire well, meaning just cutting the existing C32 spare tire well, connect a new steel pipe, add a muffler + dual tips + bumper cut, the mod cost would drop considerably like you wouldn't believe it.

I was just wondering if not having a chance to store a spare tire would further decrease the resale value, although on the other hand, having quad exhaust could increase the value as well. I guess im just trying to avoid having some potential buyer complaining about not having a spare tire well in the trunk.. although my C32 didn't come with a spare tire to begin with.

Now I know that most AMG seekers are enthusiasts and wouldn't care less about having a heavy spare tire in the trunk.. or would you ?

Should i cut the well ? Your opinion please. Thank you.

I don't think potential buyers would want the spare tire well cut. How would you patch the hole into the trunk.
