Did any of you C55 owners previously have an M3?
For those of you that now own C55s, did you have an E46 M3 in the past? If so, what do you miss/not miss about the M3, and prefer/dislike about the C55? I currently have a 6 speed M3, so my largest fear is that I will miss the manual transmission. I do however love quick sedans. Have any of you guys taken a C55 out to a road course, or out to the drag strip? If so, how did the tranny and the car perform?

2002 C32 and 1999 F-150 Lightning
I had a '03 M3 with SMG just before the C55. I thought the M3 was a little raw for my tastes and just not torquey enough. Just drove the C55 last night....WOW what torque it has. And believe me, you won't be bored with this automatic tranny...it is VERY cool and quick to downshift/upshift.
Very docile at part throttle shifts too. Best of both worlds, IMHO.
