All I read from this thread are about mods and maintenance now, I think potential C55 buyers are now all waiting for the M3/M4, Caymen, and the 2006/7 C (W204?) AMG?
It's time to sell your C55...

Speaking of an SLK55AMG, my father-in-law just bought one. He drove my C55 last week and that's all she wrote - he couldn't believe the power and torque. His s2000 is now for sale if you know of any who might be interested. It's a 2001 with 14,000 miles.

SLK55 AMG I want to drive a white one this time ...
Damn 360hp - as much power as a 911 on a small roadster, life must be well treated whoever owns one.

Wonder if anyone extensively driven both C55 and SLK55 , does SLK55 feels significantly faster than the C55 in all aspects ?

I'm keeping my C55 and my chiropractor is now getting one after seeing mine. He went the next day to test drive one and he loves it!
