Hey,
To those who upgraded to a lighter battery, which brand and model did you get...and if can spare the time, a brief review/comments of how it is would be super appreciated.

I just ordered a Optima Red Top Group 35 battery from batteriesareus. I'll let you know when I get to give an update on how it performs. It cost $109.95 with free shipping. I think there are other places online that might be cheaper, but I wasn't sure about their reliability.

How much lighter is it compared to our stockies? Was looking for the weight of it on their site but didn't really specify.

Oops, never mind, I found it. 31.7lbs is the weight for the Optima battery, in case anyone else was interested about this~!

Make sure (for the C32 at least, not sure about the C55) you get the one with the reversed terminals (I think that it is called the 35R). The way the pos and neg are routed to the battery area makes it alot easier to install with the terminals reversed.

BTW: I have had the 35R in my C32 for a year, and it is awesome. No problems whatsoever. $110 with free shipping is a good price.

I think the model 35 comes with reversed poles. If you want the same battery with the normal poles, you order the 75/35 model. The reason I ordered from batteriesareus is because they gave a diagram of the battery I ordered, and I made sure that the poles were correctly positioned so that I wouldn't need to rotate the battery to make it work.
Hope that helps,
Jon
