Front bumper "diving"

I am sure you fellow C55 owners have run into the front bumper hitting "bottom" and getting scratched up. I realize the suspension front end geometry is low to the ground and that this is a good and bad thing.

I have two questions:

1) Is there any way to protect the bumper from getting scratched?

2) Are there any simple tricks outside of suspension modifications to stop this from happening?

Comments? Ideas?

sometimes you just can't avoid it..especially dips that you're not use to going through....so all i can reccommend is to approach them at an angle and to be patient....wait that extra second or two so the oncoming car can pass before you rush to turn right/left....

Haven't checked the bottom of the bumper, but in my other cars I have installed skid plates with excellent results.

all you need to do is pay attention to where you're going and angle it...

maybe more venture shield in the bottom? I was able to avoid scratching the paint with plastic venture shield.
