As I said, I got a deposit down on E90 M3, but has any of you driven E90 330I sport? It handles better than C32 ( I have not driven C55). Not as much power, but it feels much more connected.
Don't really like Audi, I always go either Bimmer or Merc. C63 would be interesting.

BTW, the RS6 has a pretty good Ring time and did win the Speedvision challenge under Galati this year.

I had ordered the 545i, so it had almost all of the options.... my real problem with the car was the seats..... they are terrible for long drives.... too much lumbar, and it can't be adjusted any lower... then after driving the M45 (it wasn't out when I ordered the 545i), I realized I liked it much better.... as for looks, I like the look of the 545i better....
here is my list....
Items for the M45 over the 545 are:
Cooled Venilated Seats, not just ventilated
Plays DVD Movies on front screen and rear drop down screen
Wireless headsets with remote control
Audio/Video Aux Inputs
Plays DVD-Audio DVD's in 5.1 surround sound
MP3 6 disc in dash cd changer
Voice input of navigation addresses
Inifiniti NAV trumps the BMW NAV in ANY area
Rear Backup Camera
RDS works with navigation
Choice of XM or Siruis satellite radio
Smart Key, push button ignition
The computer system is much easier to use and much faster than iDrive
Tire Pressure Monitoring System displays PSI for each tire
Lane Departure Warning System
Rear Wheel Active Steering
Standard 19" Wheels without run flats
More milage on the warranty
Storage Space
545 Over the M45 are:
HUD
Better handling, lighter, little bit quicker
6 Speed Auto
Active Steering/Active Roll Stabilization
BMW Assist
Park Distance Control
Bluetooth Transfers phone book to car
Automatic Windshield wipers
Scheduled car ventilation
included maintenance while under warranty

torque is 64.3kgm/5200rpm. ( 3 hp more than M5 's V10 engine ! and 20% more power than current E55's Kompressor design)
However, we can believe C AMG class will get a tuned down power 6.3 engine say ~410hp ; or otherwise, no one will buy the facelift E63 in 2006.

if it was me, wait for the E90 M3.

Totally agree with your view
E90 look good , the M3/4(E90) will look much better, don't get the 330i just because it looks new and fresh to the eyes now . In 6 months time, all the old daddies will be driving their kids to school on the 330i.
Be with style and character on the C32/C55.
Believe or not, 3 series is almost a lady's car in HK. :p

yea, that was from a magazine... the 545i ran a 13.7 and the m45 ran a 13.8... must have been really really cool out and on a nicely prepped track...
It was 95+ degrees when I ran the M45 down here in south florida.... a C32 ran the same night as my M45, 13.8 102..... I know the M45 will run better in better weather, but I'm not so sure I can get it into the 13's... my best time at the same track in my C32 was 13.4 @ 105....

cool i never thought the BMW seat would have too much lumbar support. My last car was a 200 328Ci fully loaded and it had the adjustable lumbar support which I kept median to low, but it was never really to a point uncomfortable. might be just different seat design tho.
