C55 - CLK55 Grill conversion

These parts at availible from you dealer: 1 W209 grille (either silver or black), 1 W209 grille support and 1 W209 hoodlatch for about $300 CAD and then your choice of flat hood emblem>>>>>VERY straight forward conversion.

hey dragon, you can get the clk conversion grill for your c55 thru performanceproducts4benz.com for less than half of that. also, you have to get the clk hood lever from MB dealer, about $25. installation is very easy. hope this helps.

Dragon.....this is a link to the hood emblem you want. Don't be fooled by others. This one fits the recess perfectly and is the best quality I have found to date. You won't be disappointed!!

Is it me, or does the CLK grill look like it needs a top slat?

Looks nice! I contacted Mario a while back but didn't pull the trigger because I was holding out for a monochrome version of the same badge (what Chappy has if you have seen it). I thought it would blend better with Brilliant Silver. However, the colors are starting to grow on me.
Did you get the CLK grill at the dealer or some mail order place? If from a dealer, do you know the p/n's of everything required (i.e. grill, latch, h/w, etc)?

I was thinking the Mono thing as well but the colors on Marios emblem are superb and worth the throw.
I looked for the invoice from the dealer for the p/n's but I think they went to the accountants at year end....A conversion parts are plug and play from the W209 and readily available from your dealer. There will be an update/facelift (fall 06) on the 2006 W209 grille that may be interesting?!?!
