Sorry for what probably seems like a stupid questions. We have a thousand acronyms over at the Corvette foum too.
I am about to be in the market for a C32 for the wife after deciding not to get an M3. The 32 is a better looking car and seems to be a little less tempermental.

now that I've put on the 19s and made the front sticks out a little it went back to having a little more understeer than I liked. =/ oh wellz...not gonna risk taking the car to the mountains and destroy the rims anywayz now. probably gonna get some spacers for the rear to make them more flush with the fender.

Having had two 2003 C32s in the past year with issues; let me elaborate. These cars are the only out of 40 I've owned to crap out and leave me stranded. The first one had a Supercharger cooling issue secondary to a relay then cooling pump failure. Sold back for a 3.6 Carrera Coupe. Two weeks ago the other one crapped out. No tracking, just a grocery getter for the wife. Under 15K miles and the tranny was trashed. These were both certified and pre-owned from a reputable dealer. Day 15 in service and I still don't have my car back. A new tranny arrived for it last week. Other issues are various electronic gremlins. However, I am keeping it because of its ability to accelerate and works as a family sedan that is not over 4,000 lbs. Cheap mods that transformed the excessive oversteer from AMG was a rear anti-sway bar from H&R and some Vogtland springs. I only changed the front struts to drop the nose a bit and keep the rear bar on the looser setting. In a straight line with a stock motor it does pretty good against the Carrera. Just $.02.

I'm doing some research and the C32 seems very attractive to me. But like every car, they have their own weakness. What are they?

whobob, weaknesses: no mechanical lsd (altho electronics help a little) and brakes for purely pedestrian drives..

Tranny took a crap again!
Now, it is stuck in reverse despite the shift lever position. Man, Daimler is sure lucky I didn't get a couple of J.D. Power's questionares. They would've dropped from 28th to sub Kia. Oh well, I may lease a C55 or E55. Loyal to the end, as long as I don't have to own them.

Why are you trying to get dirt on the car, it rocks..
Maybe try asking for good stuff.
If not just go to another forum and ask enthusiasts to debate the problems with there cars..shhheesshh...
Find the one and only car with no problems and buy it..
Maybe a Toyota Camry..
