C55/C32 Wheel Torque

I recently put a set of C55 rims on my C32 and was wondering what the correct torque setting is. The C32 manual says 80 ft/lbs and I think the C55 might be 90 fl/lbs. I went with 85 (hopefully the torque wrench is accurate), but I am worried about warping the rotors or some other problems related to potentially higher torque.

Any input would be much appreciated...

Yea, I wondered the same and just let the guys at my local tire/wheel shop take their best guess.

If you can wait just a bit, I'm doing the Renntech springs and the CLK55 rear brakes. I plan to take a new set of pics then.

andy_cyp, do you recall what torque setting you used for your C55 rims?

Wheel torque for both C32 & C55 should be 80 ft/lbs.

Ok just spoke to the tech guys at MB LONDON, Torque settings quoted from them is 110nm for all w203's regardless of the model, they said it and not me btw, also i havent got a clue on how to calculate nm to ft/lb, so some one enlighten us

Hope this helps guys

Andy
