turning "on" aux with COMAND

turning "on" aux with COMAND
couldn't find anything with a search. I connected my ipod to the aux jack in the glove but nothing happens. how do you set the input on the head unit to aux so that sound from the ipod comes out? thanks.

you need to go to the service menu and you will see the AUX. its the SVC button

Depending on model either hit the Audio Button and Radio, CD, CD Changer and Aux will appear, AUX is on the upper right of the screeen, or hit the Service button and it will appear.....

Hit the Audio button twice and AUX in the upper right.
