Renntech air Box V/S Stock AMG 5.5 N/A
I had some spare time in the Evenings and have read some threads regarding Higher air flow Filters & intake air boxes. Heres some pictures'. you decide. Every little bit helps

the RENNTech airbox definatley has a larger capacity for airflow!!! The little fins inside the stock AMG airbox somewhat restrict airflow... my theory on why the AMG box has the fins is b/c the AMG airbox is made of plastic, which can warp, so the fins are there to keep it in shape and also there for rigidy. The RENNTech airbox uses Carbonfiber will wont warp and is strong enough to not need those fins, therefore w/o the fins, its more free flowing.
